Search

New Query Timeout Improves Performance

Vantagepoint’s project search was enhanced with a new query timeout that prevents excessively long-running queries that can cause system shutdowns. This impacts all project drop-downs and project advanced searches. Now, if a project search query runs for more than 13 minutes, Vantagepoint will automatically cancel the query and display the following message: "Your search timed out. Large result sets can slow performance. Try narrowing your filters and running the search again."

Billing >> Interactive Billing

Defect 2452493: When you copied billing terms from another project and you selected Enable Posting by Billing Phase on the Fees tab of the Billing Terms form, you received this error: "The billing terms cannot be saved because there is an invalid phase or task to post within the Billing Phases grid."


Hubs >> Projects >> Billing Terms

Defect 2436863: This issue occurred in Billing Terms when you created new billing terms for a project from an existing project's billing terms. On the New Project form, when you selected a project in the Select a Project field by using a search with the Projects - Projects with Billing Terms criteria, Vantagepoint hung and would not load the project.

Defect 2452494: When you copied billing terms from an inactive project, you could not select phases on the Add Billing Terms dialog box.

Defect 2442736: This issue occurred when you upgraded from Vision to Vantagepoint and you had a workflow that created new projects from opportunities. Extra project records were incorrectly created from opportunities, which resulted in bad data in Vantagepoint. You received the following error message when you selected a plan that was incorrectly created during the upgrade: "Plan info not found for <xxxxx>...."

Defect 2442735: When you added a new Phase or Task, the labor code from an existing task was also applied to the newly added task, and resulted in duplicate labor codes in the project plan tasks.


My Stuff >> Reporting

Defect 2442733: When you included Organization in the grouping and sorting section of the Contract Management report and set the project level for Organization to Phase, the report failed to run on the process server and caused the temporary database to fill up.

Defect 2446435: When you selected Firms in the What to Include in Section under User Defined sections of the CRM Project Summary report, the Firm Name column did not sort in alphabetical order.

Defect 2446437: When you ran the Project List report without defining grouping or sorting options, an error occurred stating "An error has occurred during report processing".

Defect 2446439: When you ran the CRM Project Summary report and added a user-defined section and applied sorting, you received this error: "Subreport could not be shown"


My Stuff >> Timesheet

Defect 2438111: When you entered units on a timesheet with a user-defined field set to a default value in Settings > Timesheet > Options, an error message displayed.

Defect 2451241: On the Timesheets form, approvers with group-level administration access could not modify submitted timesheets unless the Editing checkbox was selected for the groups on the Time & Expense tab in the Employees hub.

Defect 2451242: On the Timesheets form, you could not modify a submitted timesheet as an approver with staff-level administration access.
