Welcome to the Deltek Vantagepoint 2025.2.1 Release Notes, which describe the new features and enhancements introduced in this release.
These release notes address all of the modules associated with Deltek Vantagepoint 2025.2.1, some of which your firm may not use. Skip the sections that do not apply to your implementation.
Idaho 2025 Tax Update
The updates for Idaho are effective January 1, 2025:
The flat tax rate decreases from 5.695% to 5.3%.
The tax rate for supplemental payments decreases from 5.695% to 5.3%.
The value of the state allowance increases from $3,600 to $3,868 annually.
The zero-percent tax bracket’s upper threshold increases:
Single/Head of household employees: from $14,600 to $15,000
Married employees: from $29,200 to $30,000

Utah 2025 Tax Update
The updates for Utah are effective June 1, 2025:
The tax rate decreases from 4.55% to 4.5%.
The base allowance used in the formulas increases:
Single employees: from $440 to $450
Married employees: from $880 to $900.
The amounts subtracted from wages in the formulas increases:
Single employees: from $8,826 to $9,107
Married employees: from $17,652 to $18,213

Touch Server Upgraded to PHP 8.4.5
The Touch Server for this version of the Vantagepoint mobile applications has been upgraded to support PHP 8.4.5.
Defect 2358039: When you clicked Add Attendees and then selected Add Employees, you were incorrectly required to have security access to an employee's record to be able to add the employee as an attendee to an activity.
Defect 2371060: When you migrated from Vision to Vantagepoint, if the project had a plan with no plan structure, opportunities that were linked to the project were missing.
Defect 2382199: When you added a phase/task from a project or template to an existing regular project, the Project Opened date changed to the current date.
Defect 2361657: When you accessed and modified an expense report as an assigned approver, the electronic signature box displayed Save instead of Submit.
Defect 2377694: Matching expense lines and credit card charges did not appear in the Matched Credit Card Dialog box. This occurred if the Merchant Description in expense lines did not exactly match the import charges.
Defect: 2362552: When you selected Project Planning Budget as the Budget Source, the Budget Hours/Amount did not display in the Project Summary and Project Progress reports.
Defect 2377747: When you selected more than a certain number of records with the Warn Before Printing Large Reports Opt-in feature turned on, an "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error occurred on multiple reports.
Defect 2373514: When your security role's record access had view and update filters set for Employee Assignment or Generic Assignment hubs, the following error message displayed when you navigated to the Project View form: "An expression of non-boolean type specified in a context where a condition is expected, near ')'."
Defect 2371056: When you viewed the fields that applied utilization calculations, some projects were excluded. This occurred when you migrated from Vision to Vantagepoint, and affected project plan records upgraded from Vision opportunity is filled with an empty charge type.
Defect 2377829: When you used any Organization Level subcodes in the Group Resources By field in the Grid Settings, resources did not appear in the Resource View form.
Defect 2371847: In Ask Dela, when you queried a large database about employees or projects, an error occurred.
Defect 2326381: When you viewed the Scheduled Workflow grid, user-defined grids were not displayed in the Workflow Table drop-down field.
Defect 2377740: This occurred when you reselected a line item in a new Create Voucher from PO entry that was previously saved in another Create Voucher from PO. For non-billable projects, when you used the voucher, it used the Reimbursable Account from the Items Categories tab on the Purchasing & Company Settings form in the desktop application, instead of the Direct Account.
