Work Planner
Use this page to manage and view resource management from a very high level. You can also drill down to lower levels in the data grid to adjust data.
Work Planner enables you to:
- View staff utilization and capacity in a high-level, grid-style view; and see planning in day, week, month, and quarter-year summary views.
- Allocate hours from tasks to resources quickly and across large time periods in a single action.
- View resource planning over a period of time for time lines of individual jobs.
The Work Planner page is the starting point for performing resource and work planning and analysis. From this page, you can access dialogs that enable you to define the hierarchical organization of and parameters for the data set that you want to see. After you specify the view of information that you want to work with, you can view the data from many perspectives to quickly identify issues such as overbooking of resources.
