Task Search Tab Fields and Buttons

Use the fields and buttons on the Task Search tab to search for tasks by job number or to display information about every job and its tasks in your TrafficLIVE system.

Above the Search Fields

The search filters that the following tables describe are the default search fields. You can select the fields that you want to use as search filters using the Search Filter Profiles pop-up. The grid columns that the following tables describe are the default columns. You can select the columns that you want to see on the grid using the Column Selector Profiles pop-up.

Field Description
Click to access the Search Filter Profiles pop-up, where you can select to display or not display columns in the grid and then save your selections as a Search Filter profile.

Search Fields

Field Description
Job # Enter a job number to find information about that job and the tasks that belong to it. You can use the percent symbol (%) as a wildcard. You must have the correct permissions to view this information.
Charge Band Choose a charge band from the drop-down list to view only tasks that have that charge band.

Below the Search Fields

Field Description
Clear Click to clear the search criteria.
Search Click to search using the specified criteria.

Search Results Fields

Field Description
Job # This column displays the job number.
Task This column displays the name(s) of the task(s) that belong to the job.
Scheduled This column displays information about the time that is scheduled for the task. If work has been allocated on the task, it displays both the total amount of time that is scheduled and the total amount of time that is available for the task. For example, "1:00 of 8:00" indicates that one hour of work has been allocated for a task that is estimated to require eight hours of work.
Days Left This column displays the number of days remaining before the task is scheduled to be complete.
In-House Job This column displays a check mark if a task is from a job that is marked as an in-house job.
Click to access the Column Selector Profiles dialog, where you can select to display/not display columns and then save your selections as a Column Selector profile.

Below the Search Results Grid

Field Description
Page navigation buttons Click a page number to move to that page in the search results. Click Previous or < to move backward one page; click Next or > to move forward one page.
Next Allocation Length Use the arrows to increase or decrease the duration of the next allocation.
Create Allocation Click before you drag and drop a task to the calendar grid to create an allocation. When active, it is highlighted in green.
Create Time Sheet Click before you drag and drop a task to the calendar grid to create a time entry against the task. When this button is active it is highlighted in blue.
