Create a Time Sheet Entry from the Task Search Tab

You can easily create a time sheet entry from a task.

To create a time sheet entry for a task, complete the following steps:

  1. Click Menu > My Traffic > My Calendar.
  2. Click the Task Search tab and search for the job to which the task belongs.
  3. In the search results, locate the task for which you want to create a time sheet entry.
  4. Click Create Time Sheet if it is not already activated.
  5. Click and drag the task from the search results and drop it on the appropriate location in the calendar grid. TrafficLIVE creates a time sheet entry (in blue) with a 15-minute duration at the calendar grid location. You can drag the top or bottom of the entry and resize it to change its duration. You can drag it to another day in the calendar grid if needed.

    A blue bar at the bottom of the calendar grid displays information about the entry: start and end times, whether it has been submitted, whether it is billable time, and any work points that have been assigned to it. In this bar, you can click Delete to delete the time sheet entry if appropriate.

  6. Click Save to save and submit this entry. You can also choose to submit the entry or choose Submit All from the Time Sheet Controls pull-up at the bottom of the calendar grid to save and submit all time sheet entries.
