Charge Bands
You use this page to work with charge bands.
- Sets the price of work that you are undertaking.
- Draws the following information from the charge band setting in Admin: the cost, markup, and price per hour. The rates that are displayed automatically take into account custom rate cards and currencies if those are set on a job.
In Admin, you can set charge bands/skills for your team members. When you schedule a job, the charge band is used to define the type of work, and thus make intelligent suggestions about who can do the work.
In TrafficLIVE, the value of a portion of work is determined by the charge band that is used for the task. The default rate on a charge band is assumed to be the non-discounted value.
The concept of realization is to compare the recoverable amount for a piece of work against what it should be worth to you. This is a widely used measure in organizations that sell time, and is also known as recovery rate.
