Actions Tab

This tab allows you to select actions that move the candidate to the next phase of the recruitment process.

Section Description
Add to Requisition This section allows you to attach the individual to a requisition as a candidate.
Send a Letter This section allows you to send a letter to the applicant.

Click the View icon to view the letter template or click the Edit icon to edit the template.

Click the Request Return Receipt check box to request a read receipt notification when the applicant views your email.

Send A Text Message This section allows you to send a text message to the applicant.

To send a text message, enter your message into the Text Message field, and then click Send.

To reset the entire form, including the receiver's number, click Reset.

Note: To configure Twilio for text messaging in Talent Management we have added a new option to the SMS (Text) Provider system setting (Administration > Global Settings > System Administration > System Settings > Notifications > SMS (Text) Provider > Twilio).

To configure Twilio SMS Provider, the Global Administrator selects Twilio and configures the following system settings:

  • Account SID: Enter the Twilio account SID (machine generated string identifier used as username.). This starts with AC and can be found in your Twilio Console.
  • Auth Token: Enter the Twilio authentication token (secret key used as a password). This can be found in your Twilio Console.
  • Twilio Service: Enter either the From number or the Twilio Messaging Service ID. This starts with MG and can be found in your Twilio Console.

To enable the Implementation group to control the Send A Text Message functionality, a Send A Text Message option has been added under the Résumé Dashboard feature (Administration > Global Settings > System Administration > Features > Recruiting > Résumé > Résumé Dashboard). Disabled by default, the feature, when enabled for the implementation group, is also enabled for hiring managers, recruiters, and administrators.

The conversation history is displayed at the bottom of the Send a Text Message section, which includes the Time, Action, User, Number (job seeker's), Message, and Status information. Inbound messages corresponding to the candidate's registered numbers will be displayed in this section. Depending on the access and visibility configured for the user, this section may also display outbound messages sent by the administrator, recruiter, and hiring manager.

Invite Job Seeker to Apply This section allows you to send an email to candidates inviting them to submit their résumé to a requisition.

In the Select a Requisition field, find the requisition. Then, choose your template in the Select a Letter Template field.

Click to view the letter template or click to edit the template.

The candidate is then sent an email with a link to view the job details and apply if desired.

Add to Pool This section allows you to place the selected individual into a candidate pool.

If you are a Recruiter, you can also create a new candidate pool using the new Create New Pool option. The changes will be reflected in the transaction log.

Secondary Application This section allows you to send another form that contains additional questions to the candidate as part of the application process.

This section also displays the completed form that the applicant sends in response.

Background Check This section allows you to order a background check request and view the results. This section is available only if your company purchased the Background Check feature.
Assessments This section allows you to send out an assessment invitation to candidates and view any assessment results. This section is available only if your company purchased the Assessment feature.
Reminders This section lists any reminders that you have created. It also allows you to add new reminders.
Suggest Deletion This section allows you to request that a résumé be deleted from the database. Triggering a deletion request only flags the résumé for removal and does not actually delete the résumé. Your company’s site administrator must take action to permanently delete the résumé from the database.
