Search for a Mentor

You can search for employees who have volunteered to be mentors and who have specific skills, competencies, and experiences.

To find a mentor/mentee:

  1. Click Career Center.
  2. Click Career Development.
  3. Click Mentoring Relationships.
  4. Click Search for Mentors.
  5. Use any of the search criteria to find mentors that meet your requirements.
    • Name: Enter all or part of a potential mentor's name.
    • Manager: Click the Select Manager to include direct reports of one or more particular managers in search results.
    • Skill: Select a skill from the drop-down list to display individual skills in the area below. Click one or more individual type of skill and use the right arrows to select.
    • Competency: Select a competency from the drop-down list to display individual skills in the area below. Click one or more individual type of skill and use the right arrows to select.
    • Education Level: Select the level of education you want in a mentor.
    • Internal Job History: Click one or more jobs from the list on the left and use the right arrow to select.
  6. Click Search to display a list of potential mentors.
  7. Select the mentor that you want, then click Add to Talent Pool.
    Note: Your manager and the mentor’s manager will need to approve the mentor relationship.
