Create a Requisition Using the Quick Job Posting Widget

You can create a requisition using the Quick Job Posting widget, which is designed to help you recruit candidates who can quickly fill gaps in your company’s headcount. If you use this widget, you need not enter any additional options to complete the job posting because the job profiles on the drop-down list are pre-configured by your company’s system administrator.

Prerequisites: You must add the Quick Job Posting widget to your Main Dashboard. You must also make sure that the Hourly Portal is enabled for your company. The Quick Job Posting widget displays only those job profiles that are designated for the Hourly Portal.

To use the Quick Job Posting widget:

  1. On the Main Menu Ribbon, click .
  2. On the Main Dashboard, click Quick Job Posting.
  3. Make your selection for each of the displayed fields.

All fields are required, but pay particular attention to the following:

    • Location Group: Select a location group from the drop-down list, which contains only those locations for which you are responsible.
    • Location: Select a location from the drop-down list, which contains only those locations for which you are responsible. The bundle association by location is based on the requisition’s primary location. When multiple locations are associated with a bundle, as long as the locations match, the association will be triggered.
    • Apply In-Person: Select this check box if you want job seekers to apply in person. Of the fields in the widget, only this is optional.
If details, such as the value in Job Type, are specified for the job profile, then those details are automatically populated in the widget and you cannot change them.
  4. Click Post a Job Opening.
This button is enabled only after you populate all the required fields in the row.
  5. If a pop-up screen displays notifying you that there are remaining fields that must be populated, enter information in these fields; if not, the job is posted.
You can now manage the new requisition, and view related activity for it, on the Manage Requisitions screen.
