Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Contents of the News and Announcements Administration Screen

The News and Announcements Administration screen displays the following columns and actions.

Columns

Field Description
News & Announcements Title
News & Announcements Category
News & Announcements Start This indicates the date when the announcement will start displaying to users.
News & Announcements End This indicates the date when the announcement will cease displaying to users.
Status This indicates whether the announcement is Active, Inactive, or in Draft

Actions

The icons in the Actions column perform the following functions.

Icon Action Description
Edit To edit the announcement details, click this icon.
Deactivate To deactivate the announcement, click this icon.
Delete To delete an announcement, click this icon.
