When progress is entered and approved for an activity, PM Compass flags the activity by setting the PMC_ACTIVITYPENDINGPROGFLAG field to 1. When the process checks for progress, all of the activities that have a 1 in that field are exported to Microsoft Project Professional.
After Microsoft Project has been successfully updated, the flag is reset to 0 for all activities.
