Add a Step Action to an Existing Workflow Type

This topic describes the steps needed to add a step action to an existing workflow type.

To add a step action to an existing workflow type:

  1. In Workflow Type Configuration, use the Search field to select the workflow type you want to edit.

  2. On the Workflow Steps tab, in the Steps grid, select the step to which you want to add the step action.

  3. In the Step Actions grid, click Insert ยป <Step Action>.

  4. Depending on the step action selected, a dialog box may display. If it does, complete the appropriate fields and click OK.

  5. The step action is added beneath the list of existing step actions.

  6. If needed, click Move Up to move the step action to a different line in the step action grid so that the workflow steps occur in the correct order.

  7. Click Save.
