Terminate a User's Application Session

You can end sessions for certain users or all users who are logged on. Then, you can close an application for those users.

Message delivery and session termination depend on the polling interval. If you set your polling interval to 30 seconds, users will either see the message or be dropped out of their session within 30 seconds. If the polling interval is 30 minutes, it may take up to 30 minutes before they see the message or experience session termination.

To terminate a user's session:

1. From the Navigation menu, click Products » <Any EPM Product>.

2. On the product form, click the User tab.

3. In the Users group box grid, select the user or users whose sessions you want to end by clicking the right arrow icon in the selected row or rows.

   To terminate the session for all logged-in users, click Select All.

4. Click Terminate session. A Deltek dialog box displays, prompting you to confirm the task.

5. Click Yes.
