Change the Hierarchy Display Layout Settings

Use this procedure to change the hierarchy display layout settings.

To change the spread layout on resource and code hierarchy displays:

1. Take one of the following actions:

   Enable the setting:

   1. Right-click an empty area of a Code or Resource view and click Preferences on the context menu.

   2. On the Options tab, select Spread in the Hierarchy Display Options group box.

   Disable the setting:

   1. Right-click an empty area of a Code or Resource view and click Preferences on the context menu.

   2. On the Options tab, select Ladder in the Hierarchy Display Options group box.
