Use this procedure to log on to Open Plan.
Note: PPM products use centralized
Mixed authentication by default. How you log
in to Open Plan is determined by the user authentication mode assigned to you,
not by the product's authentication settings.

Click the
Start menu, and
locate
Deltek Open Plan
8.x.
If you are set up with Windows authentication
, you are logged in automatically using
your Windows credentials. If you are set up with Basic authentication, proceed
to the next step.

Iin the Open Plan Login dialog box,
enter your user ID and password in the corresponding fields.
Open Plan remembers the user ID from your last login and
automatically enters that user ID. If this user ID is not the one you wish to
use, delete it and enter the proper one.

In the
Data Source
drop-down list, select the database connection to use when you log on to Open
Plan.
The drop down list displays all data sources defined in the Open
Plan Data Tool.

If you want Open Plan to open your briefcasing data source
instead of your main data source, select
Use Briefcasing Data Source.

Click
Login.
