Create a New Project or Ancillary File

Use this procedure to create new a project or ancillary file.

To create a new project or ancillary file:

1. From the Quick Access Toolbar, click (Create a new file) and select an entry from the Project or Ancillary Data options.

2. Enter a Name and Description.

   If you leave Use previous settings as defaults cleared, the file is created using Open Plan defaults.

3. Select one of the following options:

   • Click Next to start the New File Wizard and specify your preferred settings.
   • Click Finish to create the file using the default settings.
