Convert Account Keys

Use the Account Key Conversion utility to change an account number or to close out (consolidate) account number data into a single account number.

You can consolidate data between two existing account numbers. Alternatively, you can set up a new account number in which to close out account numbers that are no longer in use. When you consolidate account numbers, GovWin Capture Management deletes the old value. All detail associated with the old value is associated with the new value.

Prerequisite: Back up your GovWin Capture Management database.

To change account numbers, complete the following steps:

1. From the GovWin Capture Management Navigation menu, click Utilities > Key Conversions > Accounts to display the Key Convert Accounts form.
2. Complete the fields on the Key Convert Accounts form.
3. Select one of the following actions:

   Option	Description
   To save the conversion to run later	Click Save.
   To run the conversion now	Click Run.
   To schedule the conversion to run on a regular basis via the process server	Click Schedule and complete the Schedule dialog box.
