Louisiana 2019 SUTA Electronic Filing
The SOC Code/Job Title in the RS record (position 367-446), which was previously required, is now optional. For more information, see http://www.laworks.net/Downloads/UI/WageUploadInstructions.pdf.
As part of this update, the SOC Code/Job Title field no longer displays on the Quarterly Processing Editor form when you edit the quarterly processing work file for Louisiana.
Tax File Generation for United Kingdom VAT Return Files
You can now generate UK VAT tax files to submit to HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC). This applies for tax files you set up in Accounting » Tax File Generation in the desktop application. The interaction between DPS and HMRC uses an electronic API supplied by HMRC.
Before generating a UK VAT return, you must set up the appropriate box numbers on the Tax Reporting tab in Settings » Accounting » Taxes. Before submitting your UK VAT return to HMRC, you must obtain HMRC authorization to give DPS authorization to interact with your data and HMRC. You should know your HMRC username and password to obtain access to the HMRC site.
Once you obtain HMRC authorization, you can obtain VAT Tax obligations from HMRC, prepare your VAT data for submission to HMRC, make the VAT submission to HMRC, and run a Tax Detail Report for a reporting period.
For details, see the Generate a UK VAT Tax Return File help topic (Accounting » Tax File Generation » How To) in the Contents pane for the DPS help.

Defect 1061163: Depreciation Processing calculated depreciation for the 13th period, but should not have. This occurred when you set up 13 periods per fiscal year in Utilities » Period Setup and the annual periods per year was set to 12. The 13th period should have been for year-end adjustments only.
Defect 1068796: Both the Timesheet Group and Expense Group grids that displayed on the Time & Expense tab of the Employees hub listed the respective group's code instead of the description.
Defect 1074413: When using the List view in the Employees hub, you could not filter by the Supervisor field.
Defect 1066532: When you created a new contact on the Contacts tab in the Firms hub for a client-type firm, the Contact List report for the contact incorrectly showed the contact's Type as Vendor, Consultant, or Partner instead of Client.
Defect 1043043: Sometimes, when an activity was marked as completed (checkmark selected) and then not completed (checkmark not selected) on the Activities tab in the Opportunities hub, the activity's notes disappeared.
Defect 1079581: When you saved a record in a hub, the last modified date and the employee who modified the record were not updated for the record. You could also experience performance issues in a hub when you saved a hub record.
Defect 1072887: If you selected a project that was a sub-project in a billing group and clicked the Filed Invoice icon for an invoice on the Invoices tab so that you could preview the invoice, you incorrectly received the message "No data found for this invoice."
Defect 1076741: The notice that you received about the Vantagepoint maintenance schedule when you logged on to the Vantagepoint browser application displayed question marks throughout the text and truncated certain words. There were no scroll bars provided to allow you to see all the text on the dialog box.
Defect 1084259: This issue arose if an approval workflow was configured to be sequential, with steps for detail lines first, followed by expense report steps. If you then changed the approval workflow, the detail lines were set to waiting and the approval workflow did not start for the expense report.

Defect 1074350: If you changed the amount or order of columns that displayed on the Planned Hours dialog box and then reopened the dialog box, the columns reverted to the default settings.
Defect 1073629: The All Missing filter in timesheet search used invalid logic that returned erroneous results.
Defect 1064426: Non-budgeted labor codes populated timesheets when you copied timesheets from planning with the Budgeted Validation field set to Budget Worksheet on the Time & Expense tab in the Projects hub.
Defect 1081431: You were able to reopen a posted timesheet or expense report if your approval workflow allowed the option to reopen approved timesheets or expense reports and you did the following:
Opened an approved expense report in My Stuff » Expense Report or an approved timesheet in My Stuff » Timesheet.
Used the posting application in Transaction Center » Time and Expense Posting in the desktop application to post that timesheet or expense report.
Returned to the original timesheet or expense report.
Defect 1065244: If resources included on the Labor Resource Forecast report were not associated with a company, the final totals on the report were incorrect because the computation did not take the non-working days of the active company into account.

Employees who were terminated in QuickBooks Online were added to DPS with an Active status if a date was not entered in the Released Date field for the employees in QuickBooks Online. If you do not use Payroll in QuickBooks Online, this problem did not occur.
In 1.1.21 and going forward, if you use QuickBooks Online Payroll, in QuickBooks Online you must enter a termination date in the Released Date field for employees in order to prevent them from being added to DPS with an Active status.

To avoid this error, select Resource as the value of the Lowest Level of Detail Shown field on the Sorting/Grouping tab.
Defect 1083007: Certain sequences of actions in the Project View or Resource View grids caused the grids to refresh incorrectly, with the result that some rows were no longer aligned across the three grid sections.
Defect 1082967: When the Users application was set to Read Only access rights on the Record Access tab of Role Security, and the Allow Modification of Passwords in Users When Read-only Access option was selected, an error message displayed when you attempted to change the password from the Users application.

Defect 1089546: This issue applies if you use multiple currencies. When you posted an AP voucher with a tax code that had the same currency as the voucher payment currency, and an override rate was used to calculate the payment amount, the daily exchange rate was used instead of the override rate to calculate the tax amount.
Defect 1083539: After you imported a new firm record (.CSV file), you were unable to re-import the same record with a modification to it using the Update Duplicate Records option. You received an error message that said the record already exists.
