Georgia 2018 SUTA Electronic Filing

The N Record now includes the Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN).

Rec/Pos: N 72-80

Before: Constant. Enter 9 spaces.

Now: Federal Identification Number. Enter the employer’s 9-digit FEIN. Enter numbers only, without punctuation. For example, enter 12-3456789 as 123456789.

Kentucky 2018 SUTA Electronic Filing

The ICESA T record has been updated to include the Service Capacity Upgrade Fund (SCUF), which is effective beginning the third quarter of 2018 until the funding level is reached. It is estimated to be in effect for five years.

New Jersey 2018 Tax Update

The withholding tables have been updated. A new withholding rate of 15.6% for incomes of at least $5 million will be implemented, regardless of the taxpayer’s filing status. Below are the base taxes for the new withholding rate as indicated in the Tables for Percentage Method of Withholding (applicable to wages, salaries, and commissions paid on or before September 1, 2018):

Software Issues Resolved


Accounting >> Overhead Allocation


Defect 952857: Overhead Allocation was incorrectly including an asset account as an indirect expense in its calculation if you had processed an asset transfer or disposal before running overhead allocation. After you processed an asset transfer or disposal, the Project Detail report incorrectly showed the asset account for the asset transfer or disposal as an indirect expense.


Accounting >> Revenue


Defect 969262: If a project and its phase that belonged to one company had a different functional currency from that of the adjustment phase (which belonged to another company), the posted amount that exceeded the upset limit amount did not use the functional currency of the adjustment phase. This defect occured when you set Revenue Generation to post immediately.


Hubs >> Employees


Defect 983074: On the Experience tab in the Employees hub, when you clicked the filter icon and selected records to filter the contents of the Project grid, nothing happened.


Hubs >> Firms


Defect 974211: After upgrading from Vision, firms that were Firm Type: Client could not be accessed by users with a Security role type of Accounting only.


Defect 978745: On the Contacts tab, you could not save a contact record that was entered using the Add New Contact link.


Defect 978922: If you had Record Level View restrictions to Firms (listed on the Record Access tab of the Roles form in Settings > Security > Roles in the desktop application) and a custom grid in the Firms hub had a drop-down field with Sort By selected, you received a syntax error.


Hubs >> Opportunities


Defect 973090: When one opportunity record was opened and then you opened another opportunity, an error would display when you selected a Stage for either record.


Hubs >> Projects


Defect 979729: You were unable to enter a new project if two delimeters that you set up for project number formatting were the same.


Defect 986659: A user with Add/Modify rights to the Projects hub was unable to delete a row from a user-defined grid in that hub. They incorrectly received a message indicating that they did not have rights to delete the record.


Defect 970655: When you were creating a new project based on an existing project, there was a long delay between when you selected the existing project and when the Copy Plan check box was enabled. During that delay, DPS was retrieving all of the project and plan information from the database, but nothing displayed to indicate that this was occurring. As a result, some users concluded that there was a defect or that the option to copy the plan was not available for some other reason. This release eliminates the long delay.


Defect 979608: When using the Create Project from Template option to create a new project record, if you then used the Other Actions > Create Phase option to create a new phase from the project template, the application displayed a console error.


Defect 955114: When viewing projects in List View in the Projects hub, you did not have the option to filter the grid based on values in the Project Name column.


Defect 975472: When a plan belonged to a company other than the employee’s company, the employee could not copy planned hours in My Stuff > Timesheet because the project was not available to select.


Defect 983124: When you shifted a plan's end date at the project level, it did not shift to the correct end date. This occurred when you did the following on the Labor tab in Plan mode in the Projects hub:

  1. You changed a plan's end date at the project level to one month out.

  2. On the Reschedule Plan Dates dialog box, you selected Shift, left the new end date in the To This Plan Date Range end date field, and clicked Reschedule.

The end date was changed by years instead of by a month and was also changed for all the lower WBS levels, which should not have happened.


Defect 972841: When an incorrect entry was made on the Contract Management tab, attempting to save produced a warning message and resulted in lines on other contracts being removed, added, or doubled.


Defect 974219: In Plan mode in the Projects hub, the JTD (job-to-date) hours on the Labor tab for some plans were incorrect.


Defect 982444: On the Team tab in the Projects hub, the phone number for a contact in the Team Members grid incorrectly displayed the firm's phone number instead of the contact's business phone number. 


Defect 973013: When your security role provided you with access to only one WBS level of a project, you were unable to update data for the entire project's plan. You should have been able to update data for the entire plan.


Defect 979794: When you attempted to create a new project from an existing opportunity (Projects > New Project > Create Project from Opportunity), a "record already exists" error occurred.


Hubs >> Units


Defect 974325: If there were multiple units (rows) in the grid, when you attempted to edit the fields at the top of the Unit Tables form, the following error occurred upon saving: "FrameworkException: The record you are trying to save has been updated by another user since you first selected it."


My Stuff >> Expense Report


Defect 968604: If you added a line to an expense report and closed the report, you could not edit the Bill check box after reopening the report.


Defect 982992: When Line Item Approval and Expense Approval were both enabled in an expense report approval workflow and an employee unsubmitted their expense report, the expense report unsubmitted successfully but the expense line items remained in a submitted status in the approval workflow. 


My Stuff >> Timesheet


Defect 982618: When you added a project to a timesheet, entered hours in a timesheet date field, and then clicked a different date in the same timesheet, both the project and the hours that you entered in the date field did not display on the timesheet.


Defect 978818: When you logged in using Windows Authentication and attempted to submit a timesheet, the Confirm Electronic Signature dialog box stayed open after you entered a password and the timesheet was not submitted.


Planning


Defect 983814: You were unable to access Plan Settings in Settings » Resource Planning » Plan Settings if your security role did not have access to Settings » Rate Tables. You should have been able to access Plan Settings without having access to rate tables.


Reporting >> Project


Defect 971103: Planning and planning baseline budget data was not populating in the Budget Billing Amount, Budget Hours, and Budget Rate columns in project reports.


Defect 968597: An unposted labor discrepancy occurred when an employee was associated with two companies and both companies used the same time periods. If labor hours were posted for the employee in one company and the other company had an open timesheet for the employee in the same period, the Unposted Labor report showed the hours posted for the first company as unposted.


Reporting >> Projects


Defect 974833: The budget hours and amount were blank on the Project Summary report when you used the "Employee number is me" (search field and operator) for the project search criteria.


Reporting >> Resource Planning


Defect 982347: This issue applies for the Labor Resource Planned and Actuals report. When you used the "Project Manager is me "(search field and operator) selection criteria and the project manager was specified at the lowest WBS level of the project, no records were displayed in the report.


Reporting >> User-Defined Hub


Defect 979652: This issue applied when you added a user-defined hub in DPS and you then added a lookup field in that user-defined hub that linked to another hub. When you ran a report for the user-defined hub that included the lookup field, the internal ID for the hub field displayed on the report instead of the hub record’s name.


Resource Management


Defect 952733: If you selected a grouping option on the Column Settings & Selections dialog box in Resource View and/or you selected one or more utilization-related columns to display, scrolling the contents of the Resource View grid was slow.


Resource Management >> Resource View


Defect 978148: When you selected a resource in the Select Resources field in Resource View, the list of resources in the drop-down list in the field was cut off and did not show the full list of resources.


Defect 983132: The percentages in the Scheduled % and Utilization % columns in Resource View were incorrect, based on expected rounding in the calendar grid. For example, if a resource was scheduled for 33 out of 40 available hours, which equals 82.5%, it was incorrectly rounded to 82% instead of 83%.


Screen Designer


Defect 978883: You received a "Field DefaultValueGrid does not exist" error when you did the following in Screen Designer:

  1. Added a drop-down field to a grid in a hub and added several values for it.

  2. Added a row to the grid and saved it.

  3. Added another value for the drop-down list and set it as the default value for the field.

When you clicked Save, you received the error.


Defect 978928: User-defined currency type fields in a grid were rounding to whole amounts and not showing the decimal amounts.


Settings >> General >> Project Templates


Defect 978804: When you created a project template by copying an existing project template and clicked OK to save it, you received the following error: “FrameworkException: Transaction count after EXECUTE indicates a mismatching number of BEGIN and COMMIT statements. Previous count = 1, current count = 0.”


Touch >> Touch Time and Expense


Defect 973397: If the Approval Level in Deltek Professional Services was set to Both Timesheet and Timesheet Line, Time Approval would not appear in Deltek Time & Expense for Professional Services.


Utilities >> Advanced Utilities >> Talent Management Web Service


Defect 969839: When you synchronized the values of the Talent ID field from DPS to Talent Management and you set a date value set for the Exclude Employees Termination Before field in the Talent Management Web Service configuration, DPS did not exclude employee records that had a Termination Date in Talent Management that occurred before the date value of the Exclude Employees Termination Before field.


Utilities >> Integrations >> Salesforce


Defect 977404: When using Salesforce integration, text fields that were mapped from Opportunities in Salesforce displayed a Text Not Translated error in the respective Deltek field.


Utilities >> Key Conversions


Defect 977309 and 982317:  If you entered a new phase number in Utilities > Key Conversions > Tasks in the desktop application, the utility created a new phase and cleared the tasks. You cannot enter a phase number that doesn't already exist in the project.


Workflow and Alerts


Defect 975458: When an expense report was approved using the approvals workflow, and then reopened and rejected, the reject email notification was not sent to the submitter even if the reject Step Action was configured to do so on the Workflow tab of the Approvals Configuration form of the desktop application (Settings » Workflow » Approval Workflows).


Defect 968084: When an approver for the final step of an approval workflow saved a change while reviewing an AP Invoice before approving it, an error message indicated that the voucher batch file, voucher date, and bank were missing. This occurred when the approval workflow was used for AP Invoice Approvals and the final step of the AP Approval workflow was set with a Workflow State of 'In Review' with a Step Action of 'Create Voucher' on the Workflow tab of the Approvals Configuration form of the desktop application (Settings » Workflow » Approval Workflows).
