Technical Console Overview
The Deltek TE Domains and Deltek TE Logging screens are Deltek applications included within the BEA Weblogic® Server console that you can use to perform a number of database-related functions such as viewing, creating, editing, and deleting domains from Deltek Time & Expense with Employee Self Service.
You can also disconnect users, apply service packs, apply upgrades, and apply license changes. Use the Deltek TE Logging screens to filter the messages that are logged and to set priorities based on their categories.
Following are a few definitions of terms used in this section.
- Domain - The logical name given to a specific database instance for Deltek Time & Expense with Employee Self Service.
- Schema - The logical organization/structure within a database. For Deltek Time & Expense with Employee Self Service, a schema represents a data set.
- Master Domain - The master domain delivered with Deltek Time & Expense with Employee Self Service.
- Weblogic URL - The data needed by Java to connect to the BEA Weblogic Server.
- Database URL - The data needed by Java to connect to a database.
- Navigation Pane - The left pane within the Weblogic console. Use it to navigate to different parts of the console.
- Information Pane - The right pane within the Weblogic console. Use it to edit information in the console.
- Data Point - Data gathered at a particular point in time.
