Federal Withholding Worksheet

Use the Personal Allowances Worksheet for help calculating your Federal income tax withholding allowances.

To use the worksheet, complete the following steps:

1. Go to the Federal Withholding screen.
2. Click Personal Allowances Worksheet.
3. Select each check box that applies to you and provide information where needed. The worksheet uses your entries to calculate the Total Number of Allowances.
4. Click Use Allowances if you want the calculated number of allowances to be entered in the Total Allowance field on the Federal Withholding Information table, or click Cancel to discard the calculation.

   If you click Cancel, nothing is saved.
