Import Master Data Screen
Use the Import Master Data screen to configure, view, and maintain imports. Check on the status of an existing import at any time from this screen. You can schedule an import or run it on demand.
Note: Please review the "Importing and Exporting Data" chapter of the Deltek Time & Expense with ESS Technical Guide for an overview of this important feature.
Use this screen to:
- Change import settings
- Check the status of an import
- Start/stop an import
- View/print error log
- Delete import transaction in error
- Purge staging tables
- Execute import on demand
- Edit and retry an import transaction in error
When you upgrade to a new version of Deltek Time\Expense\Self Service, use the Log tab in this screen to delete any outstanding import errors from the previous version of the software. Errors retained from an older version can cause problems in this screen. If you do not delete them, you may receive the following message: "The import error message is not compatible with the application version. Please delete import error messages created with a prior version of the software."
