Manage UDT08S Screen

Use the Manage UDT08S screen to add, edit, and delete items for UDT08. UDT08 has no special attributes. You can use UDT08 to capture information that does not depend on any of the other UDTs.

UDT08 is used for the Trade Code field. You use it only if employees need to change their Trade Code or if reports using the Trade Code are required.

UDT08 is used for the Worker's Comp field. You use it only if employees need to change their Worker's Comp code or if reports using the Worker's Comp code are required.

Location

The Manage UDT08S screen is located in the Configuration module.

To display the screen, complete the following steps:

In the Configuration module, click Master Data > Manage UDT08S.

Screen Fields

Field	Description
UDT08	Enter a 20-character, uppercase alphanumeric UDT08 code. Each code must be unique.  Note: The number of characters you enter cannot exceed the size that was set up in the General Configuration screen for UDT08.
Description	Enter up to 30 characters for a UDT08 description. You should make descriptions as short as possible and properly capitalize them because they are used in drop-down boxes and as column headings for reports and inquiries.
Active	Select this check box if the UDT08 is active. The default value for this check box is checked. Note: You cannot delete a UDT08 code that is being used on a timesheet line or on an expense report.
