Terminal Documents

The Terminal Documents tab on the Terminal Monitor form is used to view the relay schedules, offline person data, and offline charge element data that has been sent to the selected terminal using the Document Transfer button or the TRIGGER_OFFLINE_VALIDATION_DOC_TRANSFER Service.

Terminal Documents Field Descriptions

Terminal ID

Identifies the terminal you selected on the Terminal Monitor form.

Document Type

Type of data that will be generated and sent to the terminal.

CHARGE_RECORDS: Contains a list of charge elements that can be validated on the terminal in offline mode. See Offline Charge Validation for more information.

PERSON_RECORDS: Contains a list of person numbers that can be validated on the terminal in offline mode. See Offline Person Validation for more information.

RELAY_SCHEDULE: Contains a terminal relay schedule. A terminal relay schedule is used to schedule one or more terminals to activate a relay signal which can perform an action such as sounding an alarm or opening a door.

XML_CONFIG: The terminal looks at this document to determine which files it needs to request (charge records, person records, and/or relay schedule).

Status

Indicates the document’s transmission request status.

Not Applicable indicates the terminal does not have the necessary settings enabled to request the document. For example, a Status of “N” for the RELAY_SCHEDULE Document Type indicates that the terminal does not have the RELAY_SCHEDULE setting enabled.

Pending indicates there is a pending request from the terminal. The terminal has the necessary settings enabled to request the document.

Complete indicates the terminal has requested the document and the document has been generated and sent to the terminal.

Error indicates that an error occurred.

Cancelled indicates the transmission request was cancelled.

Request Date, Request By

Date when a request to transmit the document was made, and the user who made the request.

Document Data

Content of the file that was requested by and sent to the terminal. To view this data, select the record and click the View Document button.

Date Created, Created By

Date and time when the server generated the document and the person or system that generated it.

Date

Date and time when the document was transmitted to the terminal.

Update Date, Updated By

These fields display when the record was created or updated, and the person who created or updated the record.

 

Find and View a Terminal Document

  1. Click Main Menu > Administration > Terminal > Terminal Monitor.

  2. Select the terminal for which you want to view documents created via the Document Transfer button or the TRIGGER_OFFLINE_VALIDATION_DOC_TRANSFER Service.

  3. On the Terminal Documents tab, click Find. You can also click the Filter button to display the Document Type field, and select a specific type of document to view. Then, click Find.

  4. In the middle of the form, select the document (CHARGE_RECORDS, PERSON_RECORDS, RELAY_SCHEDULE, or XML_CONFIG) you want to view.

  5. Click the View Document button.

    The document will display in the Documents Dtl. pop-up window.
