The Move Scheme Detail tab of the Move Scheme form contains the move transactions that are allowed in a Move Scheme record. Because different facilities may choose to allow different move schemes (for example facility A may only want to allow Inter-Operation moves, while facility B may want Intra-Operation moves), you can disable certain move transactions. By default, all move transactions are enabled/allowed in the STANDARD (System Required) record. You cannot modify the Move Scheme Detail records that are System Required.
A Move Scheme is assigned to an Order Policy, which defines the various attributes that affect WIP (Work in Progress) labor as well as material movement.

Modify a Move Scheme Detail Record
Move Scheme Name
Identifies the Move Scheme record selected n the Move Scheme form.
Move Type
Inter-Operation: Identifies the movement of quantities from one operation to another.
Intra-Operation: Identifies the movement of quantities within an operation.
Move Direction
Back: Only backward move is allowed.
Forward: Only forward move is allowed.
Neutral: Only movement within the same operation is allowed.
From Step
Indicates the quantity bucket from which the material will be moved (Quantity Available, Quantity Rejected, Quantity Scrapped, or Quantity To Move).
For example, the move transaction that moves quantity from the Quantity Available of one operation to the Quantity Available of the next operation will have Available as the From Step and the To Step.
To Step
Indicates the quantity bucket to which the material will be moved (Quantity Available, Quantity Rejected, Quantity Scrapped, or Quantity To Move).
For example, the move transaction that moves quantity from the Quantity Available of one operation to the Quantity Available of the next operation will have Available as the From Step and the To Step.
Description
Description of the Move Scheme Detail record.
Enabled
If the box is checked, the Move Scheme Detail record is enabled.
System Required
If this box is checked, the record is system required and cannot be modified or deleted.
Update Date, Updated By
These fields display when the record was created or updated, and the person who created or updated the record.
You can modify the Description and Enabled settings of a Move Scheme Detail record.
Click Main Menu > Configuration > Policies > Move Scheme.
Select a Move Scheme record from the top of the form.
Navigate to the Move Scheme Detail tab on the lower half of the form.
Select the detail record you want to modify and click Modify.
Change the Description and check or uncheck the Enabled box as necessary.
Click Save.
