Contents of the Manage Web Services Screen

Use the fields and options to configure the Manage Web Services screen.

Click New to add a new web service.

Field	Definition
Application	Enter, or click to select, the Costpoint application to make available as a web service.
Application Name	This field displays the application name.
Integration Method ID	Enter a unique ID for the integration method. If you leave it blank, the unique ID will be generated by the system on save.
Method Type	Select the type of integration method: Data or Processing/Reporting. For now, only Data Web Services are available.
Integration Method Name	Enter a descriptive name for the integration method. If you leave it blank, a description based on the selected Application will be generated by the system on Save.
Transaction Type	Select the transaction type for the method: Import Data or Export Data.
Simple WS Method	A marked checkbox in this field indicates the web service was created using this screen.
Module ID	Enter, or click to select, the integration module for the method.. If left empty, Costpoint will create a new unique Module ID for each newly created Method.
Module Name	This field displays the name associated with the Module ID.
Integration Vendor	Enter the vendor or system associated with the integration.
Module Version ID	Enter the version ID for the integration module.
