Email Styling Tab

Use the Email Styling Tab to brand your organization's outgoing emails, such as notifications and reminders, with customized logos, colors, and text. To ensure that the email looks as expected, you can send a test email to review and assess its appearance before enabling it for the organization.

Enable Email StylingSelect Enable Email Styling to apply the formatting and styling defined on this screen to emails sent from this company.
Enable Email HeaderSelect Enable Email Header to apply a header to emails sent from this company.
Background Color (RGB)Enter the color code for the header background (e.g. #FFFFFF).
SizeSelect the size to display the header. If you select None, the size will default to the email client setting.
Company LogoEnter, or click , to select the location of the company logo graphic to display in the header.

Before you can select a company logo for the header, you must set it up in the Company Logos table window block on this screen.

Note: Make sure you establish alternate file locations on the Manage Alternate File Locations screen before assigning logo locations on this screen.
AlignmentSelect where to place the log in the header. Select None to use the default position of the email client.
Enable Email Header TextSelect this checkbox to add the text defined in this section to the email header.
Header TextEnter the text that will display in the header.

Note: GCCM Clients: When entering text in this field, use HTML encoding for special characters, including parenthesis, quotation marks, ampersands, and brackets. For example, to display Information System (IS) in the header text, use Information System (IS). This ensures the header renders correctly without issues.
Font SizeSelect the size of the header text.
Font FamilySelect the font style.
BoldSelect this checkbox to bold the header text.
Text ColorSelect the color for text in the header.
Text AlignmentSelect the position of the header text. Select None to use the default position of the email client.
ItalicsSelect this checkbox to italicize the header text.
Enable Email Footer TextSelect this checkbox to add the text defined in this section to the email footer.
Footer TextEnter the text that will display in the footer.

Send Test EmailClick Send Test Email to send a preview of your updates to the email address assigned to your user account in Costpoint. You must first save your changes on this screen to see the results in the test email.
