Manage Opportunity Stages
Use this screen to set up and maintain the different stages of an opportunity that your company uses.
You can use these stages to better track opportunities defined on the Manage Opportunities screen. If you have multiple companies, you can set up and maintain opportunity stage codes in any company and use them across all companies. The code, however, must be unique in a single Costpoint database.
You can also map opportunity stages on this screen to valid GovWin IQ opportunity stages. If you are using GovWin IQ to Costpoint integration, you must map all GovWin IQ stages to Costpoint stages. The system uses this mapping in loading GovWin IQ opportunity assessments into Costpoint. On the Assessments tab of Manage Opportunities, the system displays the Costpoint stage that matches the GovWin IQ stage when the GovWin IQ opportunity assessment was made.
