Florida Reemployment Tax Electronic Filing Software ID Update

The EDI/XML Development Team of Florida Department of Revenue provided a new production Software ID for Deltek, Inc (Costpoint). The Create Quarterly SUTA Tax File screen now uses the new Software ID in the generated XML file for Florida.

To support the update, Costpoint adds a new State SUTA Electronic File Software Information (S_SUTA_SOFTWARE_INFO) database table, which stores the software developer information per state.

The following screens were updated for this enhancement:

• Create Quarterly SUTA Tax File (PRPSMM)

• Print Data Dictionary Report (SYRDD)

2021 Ohio Tax Table Updates

Ohio’s withholding methods were revised effective September 1 to incorporate lowered income tax rates. The new tables take into consideration the income tax rate reductions that went into effect when House Bill 110 (134th General Assembly) was signed into law on July 1, 2021.

To support the updates to the Optional Computer Method, this release adds new tax table records effective 09/01/2021 on the following screens:

• Manage State Taxes

• Manage State Standard Deductions

• Manage State Tax Withholding Adjustments

• Manage State Tax Tables

Support for 12-Digit Shop Floor Time Transaction ID

Costpoint now supports Transaction IDs from Shop Floor Time that contain up to 12 characters. The column size for the Transaction ID from Shop Floor Time (TRANS_ID) increases from 8 to 12 characters on the Timesheet Line (TS_LN) table. This update prevents errors that occur when the Transaction ID created in Shop Floor Time exceeds 8 characters.

Defect 1491322: When you entered a purchase order (PO) voucher for a subcontractor PO and you updated the exchange rates, Costpoint did not update the Invoice Extended Amt. This caused an error when you attempted to post that voucher.

Defect 1370412: In Manage Contracts, you were unable to update project modifications that were set up on the Manage Modifications screen. Costpoint displayed this message: "The following field is required: Contract Mod ID."

Defect 1490557: On the Contract Teammates subtask of the Team tab, an error message displayed when you selected Prime in Prime/Subcontractor and then entered a value with trailing spaces in the ID field.

Defect 1501354: Due to a bad sender address syntax in the workflow, a system error occurred when the final step of the workflow was executed on the Manage Contracts screen (either Approve or Reject).

Defect 1368694: In Manage Subcontracts, you were unable to update project modifications that were set up on the Manage Modifications screen. Costpoint displayed this message: "The following field is required: Subcontract Mod ID."

Defect 1490560: On the Opportunity Teammates/Competitors subtask of the Team tab, an error message displayed when you selected Prime in Teammate/Competitor and then entered a value with trailing spaces in the ID field.

Defect 1497459: When the Part was a Make, the Planned Order Settings/Purchase Vendor Lead Time Calculation was set to Standard Calendar, and the Production Control Settings/Lead Time Calculation was set to Shop Days, the resulting order date was incorrect. 

Defect 1498328: You were able to issue the same serial number twice for the same transaction.

Defect 1491668: When you manually added parts to the manufacturing order (MO) requirements after you changed the As of Date, the added parts were not in the requirements.

Defect 1495163: When you revised a plan and sent it to Costpoint, you encountered the following error: An attempt to Insert row for the result set RUMROUT_ROUTINGLN_CTW was denied due to insufficient rights.

Defect 1500832: When you changed the warehouse ID, the reservation ID was not correctly reassigned in Costpoint.

Defect 1466898: Costpoint did not apply the default compensation plan on imported employee records. The application should use the default compensation plan that was set up for the labor group and labor location on the Manage Compensation Plan Defaults screen.

 

As a workaround, manually enter the correct compensation plan for the employee on the Manage Employee Salary Information screen.

Defect 1470019: When you imported multiple updates that have the same effective date, Costpoint did not correctly calculate the value of the Percent of Increase field on the employee’s record.

Defect 1508795: When you reprocessed timesheets with previously created adjustments, the application created retroactive timesheets with incorrect transactional amounts. It created incorrect retroactive timesheets for each instance that you reprocessed the same date range.

Defect 1485182: When you attempted to export subcontractor groups by manager, and employee groups by supervisor/manager/home org/HR org, the export process did not include future-dated records in the data transfer to Deltek Time and Expense. This issue occurred when you selected the Changes Since Last Download check box in your export setup.

 

As a workaround, you can set up the export process to include the complete data (full download).

Defect 1494343: Doubled rows occurred in the Pool Rates Summary table.

Defect 1463796: The Actual rate did not derive from the Last Closed Period for the current fiscal year.

Defect 1500963: Performance tuning has been performed for Calculate Standard Bills to decrease the application's runtime.

Defect 1494433: This application has been updated to post zero sales tax rows to the AR_SALES_TAX table.

Defect 1498729: Costpoint allowed changing of the labor rate even if there were already posted invoices for the work assignment, charge line, and/or resource.

Defect 1501547: A supervisor was able to modify a timesheet that was in the process of being exported.

Defect 1506975: When you ran the Print/Export Timesheet function, a system error occurred.
