  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Log Onto Cobra

Use this procedure to log onto Cobra.

The system administrator sets up user IDs and passwords using the EPM Security Administrator. If the administrator opts to use Windows NT authentication, you can log onto Cobra without using the login dialog box.

To log onto Cobra, complete the following steps:

  1. Click the Start menu, and locate Deltek Cobra 8.x.
  2. On the Cobra Login dialog box, enter your User ID and Password.

    Cobra remembers the user ID from your last login and automatically enters that user ID. If this user ID is not the one you wish to use, delete it and enter the proper one.

  3. On the Data Source drop-down list, select the database connection to use when you log onto Cobra.

    This drop-down list is only available in standalone and client/server deployments. The drop down list displays all data sources defined in the Cobra Data Tool.

  4. Click Login.
