Edit or Delete a Custom Search

You can make changes to a saved custom search that you added, and you can delete custom searches that you no longer need. However, you cannot change or delete the Deltek CRM standard searches.

To edit or delete a saved search, complete the following steps:
  1. In the Resource Planning workspace, click to go to Project View.
  2. Click the currently displayed search name at the left end of the Find project or opportunity field to display the list of available searches.
  3. On the drop-down list, hover over the saved custom search and click .
  4. On the Edit Custom Project Search dialog box, do either of the following:
    • To edit the search, make the necessary changes or additions to the search parameters, and click Save.
    • To make a temporary change to a saved search but not actually save that change, change the search parameters, and click Apply, not Save.
    • To rename the search, click Rename Search above the SEARCH NAME field, enter the new name in the Rename Search dialog box, and click Save.
    • To delete the search, click Delete Search in the upper-right corner of the dialog box, and click Delete when you are asked to confirm the deletion.
