Change Scale Dialog Box

In Project View, you can view and enter hours for resource assignments by a combination of day and month, by week, or by month. Use the Change Scale dialog box to switch from one of these scales to another. The calendar period column headings change to reflect your selection, and any existing hours in those columns are recalculated based on the new scale.

Location

To display the Change Scale dialog box, complete the following steps:

1. In the Deltek CRM workspace, click to go to the Project View.
2. Click next to Scale on the Project View toolbar.

Field	Description
SCALE	Select one of these options in this field: Days & Months: Display plan data by day for one or two months, with the rest of the project plan displayed by month. If you select this option, you also specify the month or months for which you want to display plan data by day. Weeks: Display all plan data by week. Months: Display all plan data by month.
USE DAY SCALE STARTING	If you selected Days & Months, this field displays. Select the month in which you want to begin displaying plan data by day.
USE DAY SCALE FOR	If you selected Days & Months, this field displays. Indicate if you want to display one or two months of plan data by day.
Change	Click this button to confirm the changes and close the dialog box. The calendar period column headings in Project View change to reflect your selection, and any existing hours in those columns are recalculated based on the new scale.
Cancel	Click this button to discard your selections and close the dialog box without changing the scale for Project View.
