Upcoming Generic Assignments List

Use the Upcoming Generic Assignments list to identify assignments with approaching assignments that you need to reassign to employees.

Field	Description
Range	Click next to this field and select the number of future weeks or months for which you want to view upcoming assignments for generic resources. The date range begins on the day following the job-to-date (JTD) date and extends into the future the number of weeks or months you specify. The Upcoming Generic Assignments list displays generic resource assignments with ETC hours within the date range.
GENERIC RESOURCE/LEVEL	At the top level, this column displays the generic resource names. You can expand a generic resource row to display rows for the projects that have upcoming assignments for that generic resource. Click a generic resource name to display a tooltip containing the organization and status for the resource. Click Open in Resource View in the tooltip to display detailed assignment information for that generic resource in Resource View. Click a project to display a tooltip containing project information: project name and ID, contract start and end dates, project manager, client, and notes. Click Open in Project View in the tooltip to display detailed assignment information for that project in Project View.
ASSIGNMENT START	For a generic resource row, this column displays the earliest upcoming assignment start date for that resource. For a project row, this column displays the earliest upcoming assignment start date for the generic resource for that project.
ASSIGNMENT END	For a generic resource row, this column displays the latest end date for the upcoming assignments for that resource. For a project row, this column displays the generic resource's latest end date for the upcoming assignments for that project.
RANGE HOURS	For a generic resource row, this column displays the number of ETC hours for the upcoming assignments for that resource that are scheduled within the date range you selected for the list. For a project row, this column displays the number of ETC hours for the generic resource's upcoming assignments for that project that are scheduled within the date range you selected for the list.
ETC HOURS	For a generic resource row, this column displays the total number of ETC hours for the upcoming assignments for that resource. For a project row, this column displays the total number of ETC hours for the generic resource's upcoming assignments for that project.
