Add an Opportunity

Use the Add Opportunity form to add a new opportunity in Deltek CRM.

Alternatives:
  • If your firm has implemented the GovWin IQ integration for Deltek CRM and you are a GovWin IQ user, you can also add opportunities by importing them from GovWin IQ into Deltek CRM.
  • If you previously maintained your opportunity information in another CRM application, it is likely that you can export your opportunities to a .CSV file. If so, you can then import them from the .CSV file into Deltek CRM using the import option in the Integrations & Imports area of the Configuration workspace.
To add a new opportunity, complete the following steps:
  1. In the Business Development workspace, click to go to the Opportunities area.
  2. Click + Add Opportunity next to the Find opportunity field to display the Add Opportunity form.

    This option is only available if you have the access rights that are required to add records.

  3. If you want to create a Kona space for the opportunity to support collaboration, select Create Kona Space.

    This option is only available if your firm has implemented the Kona Business integration for Deltek CRM and you are a member of the Kona Business account.

  4. In NAME, enter a name or other identifier for the opportunity.
  5. In the other fields, enter additional information about the opportunity.
  6. To save the opportunity, click on the Add Opportunity toolbar.
