Deltek CRM provides default labels for data items on forms, tabs, and dialog boxes, but you can substitute your own terms for many of those labels. In addition, you can add options to or remove options from many of the drop-down selection lists.

  • System Labels and Custom Labels
    You can use the Labels tab in the Customization area of the Configuration workspace to replace the default Deltek CRM labels with those that are used in your firm (for example, replace the default "Client" with "Customer"). If you enter a custom label, it is used throughout the Deltek CRM user interface in place of the system label.
  • Field Lists
    You can use the Lists tab in the Customization area of the Configuration workspace to specify the valid values for selected fields. Those values are then displayed in drop-down selection lists when you enter data in those fields.
