Select Text Encoding for Oracle Primavera Imports

XER files do not include any information about what is being used to encode the files. If the file you are importing does not use standard encoding (for example, it uses Russian instead of English), then the characters may not display correctly when you import the file.

Note: Complete these steps after you have linked the Oracle Primavera project but before you import the data.

To set the Text Encoding field, complete the following steps:

1. On the S1 // Projects tab, select the Oracle project in the Projects pane.
2. In the Get External Data From group, click Oracle Primavera.
3. In the drop-down list, click Set Text Encoding.
4. On the Set Text Encoding dialog box, select the text encoding that you want to use from the list and click OK.
