Run a Comparison Analysis

The Comparison Analyzer compares similarities and differences between two scenarios. Use these steps to run a comparison analysis.

These steps assume that you have imported a project and are on the S2 // Diagnostics tab after running a Fuse analysis.

To run a comparison analysis, complete the following steps:

1. Create Scenario A by clicking on one of the following:
   • A ribbon analyzer cell selects all activities that trigger the tripwire for the selected metric within the selected ribbon (across multiple phases).
   • A phase analyzer cell selects all activities that trigger the tripwire for the selected metric within the selected phase (across multiple ribbons).
   • An intersection analyzer cell selects all activities that trigger the tripwire for the selected metric within the selected phase within the selected ribbon.
   • The phase header selects all activities across all ribbons for the selected phase*.
   • The ribbon header selects all activities across all phases for the selected ribbon*.
   * Selecting a scenario from either a phase or ribbon header allows you to select activities for a scenario irrespective of whether the activities trigger a metric tripwire.
2. In the Analyze group, click Compare.
3. Create Scenario B by clicking on any of the same options as described in the above step for Scenario A. After selecting Scenario B, the compare analysis will automatically run. The results display in a popup window.
