| Report In
|
Select the currency to use for amounts:
-
Opportunity Currency — The currency specified in
Currency on the General tab of the Opportunity Info Center.
-
Presentation Currency — The currency you select in
Presentation Currency.
|
| Presentation Currency
|
If you selected
Presentation Currency in
Report in, select the three-character ISO code for the currency. (The list includes only the currencies that are enabled for your enterprise.)
All amounts on the report will be presented in this currency. Vision calculates the exchanges between the opportunity currency and the presentation currency based on the date you specify in
Exchange Rate as of.
|
| Exchange Rate as of
|
If you selected
Presentation Currency in
Report in, specify the date Vision should use to calculate exchanges between the presentation currency you select and the opportunity currency. Vision determines the correct exchange rates in the daily exchange rate table based on this date.

|
| Stage Options
|
If you want to generate the report for opportunities that are assigned selected opportunity stages, click
and select one or more stages in the Lookup dialog box. For example, if you select
Shortlisted,
Vision includes only shortlisted opportunities on the report.
Leave the field blank if you do not want to filter the report by opportunity stage.
You specify the current stage for an opportunity on the General tab of the Opportunity Info Center.
Your selections in
Stage Options also affect the calculation of hit rates. The other components in the calculation are your selections in
Core Value and
Calculated Value.
Vision calculates the hit rate percentages as follows:
(Sum of values for opportunities that are assigned the stage in
Core Value / Sum of values for all opportunities) x 100
For example, suppose you do the following:
- Use the Sorting/Grouping tab to sort and group by
organization.
- Select all stages in
Stage Options.
- Select
Awarded in
Core Value.
- Select
Percentage in
Calculated Value.
When you generate the report, the hit rate that
Vision calculates for each
organization is the percentage of all opportunities for that
organization that have the Awarded stage. If 25 of the 100 opportunities for an
organization have the Awarded stage, the hit rate is 25 percent.
If you select
Revenue in
Calculated Value, instead of
Percentage,
Vision divides the estimated revenue for the opportunities with the Awarded stage by the estimated revenue for all of the
organization's opportunities to calculate the hit rate percentage. If the estimated revenue for the 25 Awarded opportunities is $2,500,000 and the estimated revenue for all 100 opportunities is $5,000,000, the hit rate is 50 percent.
If you select
Weighted Revenue in
Calculated Value, divides the weighted revenue for the opportunities with the Awarded stage by the weighted revenue for all of the
organizationVision's opportunities.
|
| Date Field
|
To select opportunities for the report based on date, select the type of date (such as Close Date or Estimated Completion Date) in this field and select the reporting period in
Date Options. The report includes only those opportunities for which the specified date falls within the reporting period.
If this field is blank, the report does not filter opportunities by date.
|
| Date Options
|
If you selected a date in
Date Field, select the reporting period in this field. For example, if you select
Public Notice Date in
Date Field and
Next 14 Days in this field, the report displays only those opportunities with a public notice date in the next two weeks.
|
| From/to
|
If you select
Range in
Date Options, enter the start date and end date of the range, or click the calendar icons and select the dates.
|
| Core Value
|
If you select one or more stages in
Stage Options, select the stage for which you want
organization to calculate hit rates.
|
| Calculated Value
|
Select the type of values you want
organization to use to calculate hit rates. The following are the options:
-
Percent — The hit rate for a grouping level is based on the number of opportunities: (Number of opportunities for that group that are assigned the stage in
Core Value) / (Total number of opportunities for that group).
-
Revenue — The hit rate for a grouping level is based on estimated revenue: (Estimated revenue for opportunities for that group that are assigned the stage in
Core Value) / (Total estimated revenue for all opportunities for that group).
-
Weighted Revenue — The hit rate for a grouping level is based on weighted revenue: (Weighted revenue for opportunities for that group that are assigned the stage in
Core Value) / (Total weighted revenue for all opportunities for that group).
In all cases,
Vision multiplies the result by 100 to display the hit rate as a percentage.

Client Hierarchy Lookup
|
If you are using
client hierarchies and you want to generate the report for a
client hierarchy, select a
client in that hierarchy.
The report includes the entire hierarchy of which the selected
client is a part.
Example: If you select
Navy, the report includes Navy and the entire hierarchy associated with Navy. That is, it includes both parent records and child records. If Department of Defense is the parent of Navy, and Navy is the parent of NAVSEA, the following are true:
- If you select
Department of Defense in the
Client Hierarchy Lookup, the report includes detail for all
clients associated with Department of Defense, Navy, and NAVSEA.
- If you select
Navy on the lookup, the report shows a header but no detail for Department of Defense and includes complete details for Navy and NAVSEA.
- You cannot select NAVSEA, because it is not the parent of another
client.
