Create a Career Path

Managers create a new career path on an employee's Career Path page.

Managers access an employee's Career Path screen by clicking the Career Path link on the My Employees screen (My Employees » My Employees). If your organization uses the Continuous Feedback feature and has enabled the Career Path tab, Managers can access this screen from the Career Path tab of the Continuous Feedback session.

To create a new career path:

  1. On the employee's Career Path screen, click the Create a New Career Path.
  2. Select an option from the Career Path drop-down that matches the career path you are defining.
  3. ClickSubmit.
    You can now perform functions such as adding jobs to the career path, activating or deactivating the path, and adding the career path to a development plan.
