- Setting Up Employees
In iAccess, you can assign employees as members of teams for opportunities. You can also designate them as team members for companies and contacts. You set up all employees in the Employee Info Center in GovWin CM. - Clients and Vendors and
Companies
In GovWin CM, clients and vendors are in separate Info Centers. In iAccess, they are both just "companies" and, for the most part, are treated the same. - Security and User Access
Security configuration in GovWin CM controls access to iAccess. - Setting Up Access to
iAccess
Use the Roles form in GovWin CM (Configuration > Security > Roles) to provide access to iAccess for one or more users and define the level of access. - Integration of
iAccess with Kona Business
Kona from Deltek can be integrated with iAccess to support collaboration among those working on an opportunity. Kona is a private and secure collection of work spaces that members of the team associated with an opportunity can use to communicate, share documents, assign and manage tasks, and schedule events. - Set Up Integration with Kona Business
To implement Kona integration with iAccess, obtain your Kona Business client ID and client secret and enter them on the Miscellaneous tab of the General System Settlings form in GovWin CM (Configuration > General > System Settings). - Integration of
iAccess with GovWin IQ
GovWin IQ from Deltek is integrated with iAccess so that you can import opportunities from GovWin IQ into iAccess. Deltek's GovWin IQ helps government contractors win more business by providing a centralized and detailed platform for insight into opportunities at all stages of the contracting lifecycle. GovWin IQ provides comprehensive information surrounding each opportunity to save you critical time hunting for the right contacts, identify opportunities well in advance of public notices, and locate teaming partners. - Set Up Integration with GovWin IQ
To implement the features that integrate iAccess with GovWin IQ, first contact your GovWin IQ Customer Success Manager and then use the GovWin IQ Web Service utility in GovWin CM to configure the integration. - Changing System Labels
GovWin CM uses key terms in its default labels that are in common use among Deltek customers. Those same labels are used in iAccess. However, you can replace the default labels with those that are used in your firm (for example, replace the default "Vendor" with "Subcontractor"). - Specifying Values for Drop-Down Selection Lists
A number of fields in iAccess provide drop-down lists for selecting valid values. Most of these system fields have a default set of values, but you can add other values, delete default values that you do not want to use, change the order of the values in selection lists, and edit existing default values. - Adding Custom Fields, Grids, and Tabs
If your firm needs to track data other than those included as standard fields in iAccess, you can define those fields in GovWin CM and add them to one of the standard tabs in iAccess or to a custom tab that your firm has added. You can also add custom grids and tabs to iAccess. - Screen Designer Modifications
Changes made to GovWin CM using Screen Designer may also affect iAccess. - Autonumbering of Opportunities and
Companies
If automatic numbering is enabled for opportunities or clients in GovWin CM, it is also enabled in iAccess and applied when you add those types of records in iAccess. - Activities in
GovWin CM and in
iAccess
Using the Code Table Maintenance form in GovWin CM (Configuration > General > Code Tables), you can set up any number of activity types. Your employees then use those activity types to track and classify activity related to opportunities, clients, vendors, and contacts by entering the individual activities on the Activities tab in the Opportunities, Clients, Vendors, and Contacts Info Centers. In iAccess, on the other hand, you can only enter two types of activities: milestones (for opportunities only) and touchpoints (for opportunities, companies, and contacts).
