Opportunities Overview Tab

The Overview tab in the Opportunities area provides a snapshot of the selected opportunity: description and location, stakeholders in your firm, and a variety of other characteristics of the opportunity.

Field Description
Description

This unlabeled field displays a description of the opportunity.

To edit or format the description, hover over the field, click , and make your entry in the Edit Opportunity Description dialog box.

Location

This field displays the street address and other location information associated with the opportunity.

To edit or format the description, hover over the field, click , and make your entry in the Edit Location dialog box.

Team This field displays the team within your firm that is responsible for the opportunity.

To select a different team, hover over the field and click next to the field. To remove the team without selecting a replacement, hover over the field, click next to the field, and click on the Edit Team dialog box.

Capture Manager This field displays the employee who is the capture manager for the opportunity.

To select a different capture manager, hover over the field and click next to the field. In NAME on the Edit Capture Manager dialog box, type one or more characters from the employee name to select from a list of employees whose names contain those characters. Click to select from the full list of employees. (You can also search for a first name - last name or preferred name - last name combination, or for an email address.) To remove the capture manager without selecting a replacement, click on the Opportunities toolbar and clear the field on the Edit Opportunity form.

BD Manager This field displays the employee who is the BD manager for the opportunity.

To select a different BD manager, hover over the field and click next to the field. In NAME on the Edit BD Manager dialog box, type one or more characters from the employee name to select from a list of employees whose names contain those characters. Click to select from the full list of employees. (You can also search for a first name - last name or preferred name - last name combination, or for an email address.) To remove the BD manager without selecting a replacement, click on the Opportunities toolbar and clear the field on the Edit Opportunity form.

Executive Lead This field displays the employee who is the executive lead for the opportunity.

To select a different executive lead, hover over the field and click next to the field. In NAME on the Edit Executive Lead dialog box, type one or more characters from the employee name to select from a list of employees whose names contain those characters. Click to select from the full list of employees. (You can also search for a first name - last name or preferred name - last name combination, or for an email address.) To remove the executive lead without selecting a replacement, click on the Opportunities toolbar and clear the field on the Edit Opportunity form.

Procurement Details Fields

Field Description
Award Type This field displays the award type for the opportunity (for example, IDIQ - GWAC, IDIQ - Agency Specific, BPA).
Duration This field displays a description of the total expected duration of the contract (for example, 1 year base plus 4 x 1 year option).
Competition Type This field displays the competition type for the opportunity (for example, GSA Schedules or Woman Owned Set-Aside).
Master Contract If the opportunity is work that your firm is competing for under an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract (IDIQ) or similar "master" contract, this field displays that master contract.
Contract Type This field displays the contract type for the opportunity (for example, Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Time and Materials).
Solicitation Number This field displays the request for proposal (RFP) number for the opportunity.
NAICS This field displays the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code and description for the opportunity.

Additional fields If your firm adds custom grids or fields (grids or fields that are not in the standard version of iAccess) to this tab, those grids and fields display below the last standard field. You can make entries in those grids and fields on this tab or on the Edit Opportunity form.
