Create a New Phase from an Existing Phase

You can base a new phase on an existing phase.

To create a new phase from an existing phase, complete the following steps:

  1. From the GovWin Capture Management Navigation menu, click Info Center > Contracts.
  2. On the Contract Info Center form, open the contract record.
  3. Click New and select Create Phase from.
  4. On the Create Phase from dialog box, set the Copy from field to Existing Contract and make the following selections:
    1. Click Search in the first Contract field to open the Contract lookup and select an existing contract with phases.
    2. Click Search in the second Contract field to open the Phase/Task lookup and select the phase on which the new phase will be based.
  5. Complete the remaining fields on the Create Phase from dialog box and click OK. GovWin Capture Management closes the dialog box and copies the phase details into the record.
  6. Enter a unique name and number and modify other phase information on the tabs of the form.
  7. Click Save.
