Set Up Alert Polling Interval

Activity alerts are a GovWin Capture Management designed to remind you of things such as calendar events or contract tasks to be assigned or approved. The polling interval that you specify determines how often, in seconds, GovWin Capture Management checks for alert activity.

This polling interval that you set up in General System Settings applies only to CRM activity alerts. For all other alerts, the polling interval is system-set.

To set up the alert polling interval, complete the following steps:

1. From the GovWin Capture Management Navigation menu, click Configuration > General > System Settings.
2. On the General System Settings form, click the Miscellaneous tab.
3. In the Polling interval for alerts (seconds) field in the Activity Settings area, enter the polling interval, in seconds.

   The value that you enter here must be greater than 0. Deltek recommends a value of at least 60.

4. Click Save.
