Message Email Config

The Message Email Configuration form defines the email address and server from which email messages will be sent.

Configure Email Messages

1. Click Main Menu > Configuration > Messages > Message Email Config.

2. Select the record.

3. Click Modify.

4. Change the settings (defined below) and click Save.

Username is the name that will appear in the Sender field of the email message.

Email Address is the email address of the Sender.

Protocol is set to SMTP and cannot be changed.

Email Server is the IP address of the server from which the email messages will be sent.

Email Server Port is the port number of the server from which the email messages will be sent. The maximum value for this field is 65535.

In order to receive messages, a person must be assigned a Message Policy.
