The Polling Map form reflects location information (such as column name) that applies to data that is downloaded via incremental and full sync downloads on the Distribution Model form. Any data that is downloaded via the incremental or full sync download must be configured here in the Polling Map, or the download will not be successful.

Interface Name
Displays the Interface Name to which this record applies. Interface Names are configured on the Interface form.
Transaction Name
The Transaction Name corresponds with the type of transaction that this record applies to.
Column Name
Identifies the column name that the record resides in.
Prompt Name
Identifies the interface prompt for this record.
System Required
The system required check box indicates that the record is required and cannot be deleted or modified.
Enabled
The enabled check box indicates that the record is enabled and currently in use.
Update Date, Updated By
These fields display when the record was created or updated, and the person who created or updated the record.
Click Main Menu > Configuration > Interfaces > Database Polling > Polling Map.
Click Add.
Select an Interface Name.
Select a Transaction Name.
The Event field will display the name of the event corresponding to the selected Interface and Transaction (as defined on the Interface Trans tab of the Interface form).
Select a Column Name.
Enter a Prompt Name.
Check the Enabled box to activate the record.
If you want to add more than one Polling Map record, click Save and Add to save your settings and keep the Add Polling Map pop-up form open. Or click Save to save your Polling Map record and return to the main form.
Note: You cannot modify system required records.
Click Main Menu > Configuration > Interfaces > Database Polling > Polling Map.
Find the record you want to modify and click Modify.
Modify the record and click Save when you are finished.
Click Main Menu > Configuration > Interfaces > Database Polling > Polling Map.
Find the record you want to copy and click Copy.
Modify any necessary fields.
Click Save when you are finished.
Note: You cannot delete system required records.
Click Main Menu > Configuration > Interfaces > Database Polling > Polling Map.
Find the record you want to delete and click Delete.
Click OK to confirm the action.
