The Prompt Map tab on the Events form allows you to map event prompt input data to a database table and column where the data can be read more easily and can be used for reporting purposes.
On the Prompt Map tab, you define a Semantic Name for one or more of the event’s prompts; these prompts are defined on the Prompt tab of the Events form. Semantic Name identifies a column name in the semantic_map table. The semantic_map table maps prompt input data to a database table and column. For example, if you choose the Semantic Name “Order Num,” the prompt input data will be placed in the order_num field of the trans_action_data table.
