Badge Group

Detail Form: Badge

The Badge Group form is used to define groups of badges. Once you define the Badge Group, you can add badges to it using the Badge tab on the Badge Group form. You can create duplicate badges as long as they are in different Badge Groups.

Badge Group Field Descriptions

Badge Group

Name of the Badge Group. 

Description

A description of the Badge Group.

System Required

When this box is checked, it identifies that the record as system required. System-required records cannot be modified or deleted.

Update Date, Updated By

These fields display when the record was created or updated, and the person who created or updated the record.

 

Find a Badge Group

  1. Click Main Menu > Employee Management > Badge Management > Badge Group.

  2. To select a specific Badge Group, click the Filter button to display the filter and select a Badge Group from the drop-down menu.

  3. Click Find.

    The Badge Group you selected will appear in the middle of the form.

 

Add a New Badge Group

  1. Click Main Menu > Employee Management > Badge Management > Badge Group.

  2. Click Add.

  3. Enter a Badge Group name and a Description.

  4. If you want to add more than one record, click Save and Add to save your settings and keep the Add window open. Or click Save to save your record and return to the main form.

  5. Use the Badge tab to add specific badge numbers to this group.

 

Modify a Badge Group

You can modify the Description of a Badge Group.

  1. Click Main Menu > Employee Management > Badge Management > Badge Group.

  2. Select the record and click Modify.

  3. Modify the Description field and click Save.

 

Delete a Badge Group

  1. Click Main Menu > Employee Management > Badge Management > Badge Group.

  2. Select the record and click Delete.

  3. Click OK to confirm the action.

Copy a Badge Group

The badge numbers defined on the Badge tab will not be copied with the Badge Group.

  1. Click Main Menu > Employee Management > Badge Management > Badge Group.

  2. Select the Badge Group you want to duplicate and click Copy.

  3. Modify the fields as necessary.

  4. If you want to duplicate more than one record, click Save and Add to save your settings and keep the Add window open. Or click Save to save your record and return to the main form.
