Change Organization Names and Status

Use the Organizations tab in the General area of the Configuration workspace to change a level label, element name, organization name, or organization status.

The only way to change a level element ID or organization ID is to delete it and add it again with the new ID.

To change the name or status of an organization on the Organizations tab, complete the following steps:

1. In the Configuration workspace, click on the left edge of the Deltek CRM page to go to the General area.
2. Do any of the following:
   • To change the singular or plural label for a level, click in SINGULAR LABEL or PLURAL LABEL for that level and make the change. (This option is only available if you have a Fixed organization structure.)
   • To change the name of a level element, click on the element name in the list of elements for that level and make the change. (This option is only available if you have a Fixed organization structure.)
   • To change the name of an organization, click on the name in the organization grid and make the change.
   • To change the status of an organization, click the icon in STATUS for the organization in the organization grid, and select the status.
