Specify Credential Details for a Resource Search
When you search for named resources based on credentials, you can use the Set Credentials Details dialog box to specify the states in which the credentials must be valid and to specify that the credentials must not have an expiration date before a certain date.
To specify credential details for a search, complete the following steps:
-
On the Find Resources panel, do either of the following:
- Select one or more credentials in the CREDENTIALS field and then click Set details below the field.
- Click Set details below the CREDENTIALS field without selecting any credentials first.
Result: The Set Credentials Details dialog box displays. if you selected credentials on the panel, they display in a grid.
-
If you did not select skills before displaying the dialog box, click
+ Add Credential, click
in the
CREDENTIAL field, and select a credential. If the list of credentials is long, you can also type one or more characters in the field and pause to display a selection list that includes only credentials that contain those characters.
If you did select the credentials before displaying the dialog box, continue with the next step.
- To specify a state or province in which the first credential must be valid, click in the STATE/PROVINCE field and select a state or province. You must select the states or provinces one at a time, but you can select as many as you want. If the list is long, you can type one or more characters in the field and pause to display a selection list that includes only states or provinces that contain those characters.
- If you want the search to return only resources with credentials that will not expire before a certain date (the expected end date of the project, for example), click in Expires After and select the date.
- If necessary, repeat steps 2 - 4 for other credentials you are searching for.
- To add the credential settings to the search, click Set.
