Organization Import Fields

If you configured Deltek CRM for the variable organization structure, you can import your organizations.

If you configured Deltek CRM for the fixed organization type, you cannot import organizations. Instead, enter your organizations in the Configuration workspace in Deltek CRM.

Field	Description/Notes
Organization Size: 30 characters, including delimiters, and up to 10 levels Type: Varchar	(Required) Organization ID. You establish your organization structure (WBS) by importing the organization IDs for all levels of the structure. For example, if 10 is an organization ID at the top level of the structure and 10.01, 10.02, and 10.03 are organization IDs under 10 at the next level of the structure, you import a record for each of these organization IDs: 10, 10.01, 10.02, and 10.03. Deltek CRM determines the hierarchical relationships of the organizations based on the IDs. If no organization with a matching ID exists in Deltek CRM, the import process creates a new organization. If an organization with a matching ID already exists in Deltek CRM and you select the Update duplicate records option, the import process updates fields in Deltek CRM for that organization based on the data in the .CSV file. If this field is blank, the record is not imported and an error message displays.
Name Size: 100 characters Type: Varchar	Organization name.
Status Size: See notes. Type: Varchar	Organization status. Valid values are A (Active), I (Inactive), and D (Dormant). If this field is blank for a new organization or contains an invalid value, the organization is assigned the Active status, and a warning displays.
